Hi all!
Laura and I are setting off on our biggest trip yet on Friday 30th July! We’ll be away for nearly 3 months and it will take us through China, Mongolia, Russia, Norway, Finland and a little bit of Denmark and The Netherlands. I’m leaving Rocksteady Studios and have a new job at Frontier Developments in Cambridge starting in November. Laura has a sabbatical from LIFT and will be going back afterwards but we’ll be moving to Cambridge and I’ll have a vegetable patch.
Amongst other things I’ve spent the last few evenings (while Laura’s been busy with the LIFT festival – getting her hair ‘cut’ by 8 year old children and the like) putting together a map of our travels.
We’ve been calling it Mega Trip 2010 so far but maybe The Kazakhstan Circular might be better?!
We’re going to be adding blog/blab entries as we go along as it’ll be a lot easier for everyone than trying to make calls from crazy places!!!
Right, we’d better get packing…

Ofcourse your best destination is second to last…fabulous Hull! You’re taking the scenic route to get there but it’ll be worth it I know 😉

If you click on “Here Is The Map!” in the first post or on “Mega Trip 2010 Map” on the right hand side it will take you to the map in google maps so you can zoom in and out on bits of it.
I was tired when I wrote that. I therefore apologise and subtract my statement.
But what Ben isn’t telling you is that he changed it to say “Here is the map”!!

Just one last trip to the warehouse Mr Vanman then it’s off to the airport and the start of three glorious months! Take plenty of photo’s, especially of the new haircuts! Still ruminating over Ben and his vegetable patch……
